"We just had our daughter’s 3 years old birthday party at Kids Clay Room yesterday and everyone had a great time! Our little guests range from 2.5 to 11 years old, clay project is excellent and flexible for everyone to work on their own pace and have a wonderful take home mug instead of just candy or silly toys, also the owner and the teacher were both very nice and helpful. "Stopped by here for a drop in class and ended up getting a nearly private lesson for the two boys. They were having SO much fun and the instructor was so patient and kind. They do an art project of their choosing and also learn about slip, scoring the clay etc. we will be back and may even have my sons birthday party there. It's super unique and cute and I prefer it over the paint a pre-done pottery place. So much fun." Erin

"My girls (under 5) did a clay class for the first-time recently and we had such a blast! We've done MANY art classes in the city and it's so nice to find a real art class, not just arts-and-crafts activities that are really about following directions where everyone's finished product looks the same. The instructor provided the basic information about how to work with clay and then let my girls take off with their imagination and they had such fun! Clay is such an important material (much more so than Play-Doh) for development, but I have a lot of trouble being able to help them with it at home, so it's great to see a space they can work with it supported! "Just wrapped up my son's 8th birthday party at Kids' Clay Room. Everyone had a great time! We had kids arriving late and siblings jumping in to do projects, and the instructor, Chris, was flexible and cheerfully ready to roll with it. The kids are all excited about their projects. During the party, I was able to use the studio's front room to have my own mini-party with the parents, and then the kids had pizza and cake there after cleaning up from the clay project.
We have also enjoyed a few "day camps" when schools are closed at the Kids' Clay Room, and the events have always been fun, and the resulting ceramic sculptures are treasured by my son! I recommend them highly for a lovely day and lasting art pieces!" M P
"I took my daughter there this week for a spring break camp and she adored it. The owners are extremely warm and friendly and are very involved in teaching the classes, so it has a very personal feel to it. My daughter had a great time and said she loved her instructor, Ms. Reddy. Chris was also very helpful and friendly and answered all of my questions. It was very clean and organized as well, but most of all I just got really good vibes from this place mostly because the people there were so great with the kids. "Celebrated my daughter's 9th Birthday today, and I must say this has been the best birthday party she has ever had. The staff was so wonderful, so helpful and patient with the children . The children enjoyed themselves so much working on their pottery project. It is a great place to have a child's event.
